This is a deeper and much more intense version of the spell of Mind Link. It allows the mage to create a mind link between several characters to allow silent and instant communication, not just between a participant and the mage, but between other participants as well. The maximum number of participants is equal to 2, plus 1 per rank. It allows the participants to share deep thoughts, emotions, memories and even certain skills. The participants experience all sensory input received by each other - albeit to a slightly diluted degree. Participants can quickly share memories, descriptions, plans, hopes and fears, etc. This spell is intense enough to communicate any information, no matter how complete or detailed. Willing participants in a Group Mind can manipulate each other’s bodies in a manner similar to Control Person. This “remote control” is very precise, enables the controlling mind to use another participant’s body to perform very delicate actions. This includes skills specific to various professions. All delicate actions used remotely like this are performed at 75% of their normal chance for success. The participant whose body will be controlled remotely must be willing, and can take back control at any time. Participants in Group Mind cannot be controlled to cast spells that they are normally unable to cast, although it can be used by a wizard to teach another wizard a particular spell.

Direct mind-to-mind communion, using this discipline, is 30 times faster than verbal communication. Every member of the linkage can share freely with every other participant. Thus, it is impossible to “target” a communication to only one participant, unheard by the other participants. Participants, other than the mage, may drop out of the Group Mind at any time with no disruption of the spell. If the mage drops out of the Group Mind, the spell ends for all participants.

Range to initiate the Group Mind spell is touch but, once the spell is active, it will allow communication regardless of distance, as long as the participants are on the same plane of existence and not surrounded by a Circle of Protection from Detection, Wall of Force, Greater Circle of Protection, or similar magics. At rank 10, it will work even if the participants are not on the same plane of existence.

Any recipient can "cut" the link at any time.
