This spell can have one of two effects, at the caster's option; Ice Storm or Sleet Storm
Ice Storm
Great hail stones pound down for one round and inflict 3d10 points of damage to any creatures within the area of effect. The area of effect is dependent on rank. The caster can choose any radius from 20 foot to their maximum, if higher than 20 foot.

The sleet blinds creatures within its area for the duration of the spell and causes the ground in the area to be icy, slowing movement by 50% and making it 50% probable that a creature trying to move in the area slips and falls. The sleet also extinguishes torches and small fires.
Note that either form of this spell will negate a heat metal spell. |
