The adept may cast a bolt of magical energy at a target that will inflict a 1d6 damage per rank. The mage may choose to sacrifice damage to extend the range. By sacrificing one die of damage, the range is doubled. By sacrificing two dice of damage, the range is tripled, and so forth Thus, a rank 10 mage can fire a 10d6 Bolt of Energy at a target up to 100 feet away, a 9d6 bolt at a target up to 200 feet away, an 8d6 bolt at a target up to 300 feet away, etc.
The type of damage is considered to be electrical. |
