Gives target the ability to swim even if target has never swum before. Target cannot drown unless some outside force forces him under. Tactical Movement Rate (TMR) is 10.

If the target already knows how to swim, this spell improves their TMR by 2 per rank and gives them a bonus to all swimming maneuvers equal to (rank x 2).

If cast on a target under the water, it will cause them to ascend to the surface at a rate of 20 feet per round (or faster if they are actively swimming towards the surface).

The caster can affect a single, medium or large target, two small targets who are touching each other or four tiny targets who are touching each other. It will affect a giant target only if the caster is rank 10 or higher.

This spell can also be cast on an inanimate object to cause it to float to the surface. The object cannot weigh more than 25 lbs per rank of the caster. However, if the caster wants to spend one additional spell point when the spell is cast, he can double this limit to 50 lbs per rank. At rank 10, he can spend 3 spell points to double it again to 100 lbs per rank while, at rank 15, he can spend 4 spell points to double it again to 200 lbs per rank and finally, at rank 22, he can spend 5 spell points to double it once again to 400 lbs per rank.
