Any target of the casters choice within range is immediately wrapped in flames which are visible only to the victim. The flames do 1d4 damage per rank. Additionally, if the spell is cast at rank 5 or higher, the target loses 1d4 characteristic points from one characteristic, as determined below

No stat can be drained below 1 as a result of this spell. Lost points return at a rate of 1 per day, starting (4 + rank) days after the spell is cast.
At level 12, roll twice for stat drain, which could be the same stat or 2 different stats. At level 18, roll three times and, at level 22, roll four times. |
