| The mage makes a dead mans candle by ritually cutting off the right hand of a convicted murderer as described in ritual 2 and making a hand of glory. The fats and oils in the hand are rendered so the hand can be coated with them and a candle can be made. The wick of the candle must be made from the hair of a murderer (not the same one that donated his hand). The mage then says a ritual over this candle. There after it may be lit and used as part of any ritual of this college and will increase the base chance by 1% per level. Also when performing this ritual 1000SP worth of diamonds must be sacrificed with the ritual, when the ritual is over they will be gone. There is no base chance to perform this ritual. It always works if it is correctly performed. Only mages who have made the greater pact may perform this ritual. |
