The target of this spell suffers additional damage every time they are hit with a melee or missile attack. When initially targeted with this spell, they are allowed a magic save. If they fail their save, then they suffer an additional 1d4 damage every time they are hit with a melee or missile attack for the duration of this curse. If they make their save, they suffer 1d2 damage every time they are hit with a melee or missile attack for half the base duration of this curse, rounded up. Critical success means +1 damage with each melee or missile attack for one quarter of the base duration, rounded up.
Initially, this spell can only affect a single target but, at rank 10, they can affect two targets within range and within clear line of sight. At rank 15, three targets can be affected while, at rank 22, four targets can be affected. |
